The Himalayan region, north of Katmandu valley offers a multitude of trekking destinations, all accessible without flights. The major areas Langtang and Gosainkunda are combined in this trip. Langtang trekking offers experiences that could not be found elsewhere. The trails are moderate challenging with long, steep climbs up and descents, often through deep forests or across glacier mountain views and interesting villages with well-established tea houses and trekker’s lodges. Langtang has many glaciers of varying sizes; the Langtang and Ganesh Himal mountain ranges and high altitude lakes including Gosainkunda, parvatikunda, Bhairavkunda, Dudhkunda etc. This region is home to many old Gompas and Buddhist monasteries.

Day 03: Trek from Dhunche to Sing Gompa
Day 04: Trek from Sing Gompa to Gosaikunda (4361m.) via Lauribinayak La (3920m)
Day 05: Trek from Gosaikunda to Sing Gompa (3250m.) or Chandan Bari (3250m.)
Day 06: Trek from Sing Gompa to Dhunche
Day 07: Drive from Dhunche to Kathmandu by private vehicle
Day 08: Fly back to home
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu(B &B)
Upon arrival, our staff will pick you up and transfer you to hotel. Our Trekking Manager will discuss about the details about your trekking.
Day 02: Drive from Kathmandu to Dhunche (1966m.) 8 hours. (B &B/Lunch/Dinner)
You head north out of Kathmandu driving through scenic foothills and ridgeline vistas to Dhunche. The first part of your drive upto Trishuli Bazaar is quite smooth. The path now moves along the gravel road. During the rainy season, the way is sometimes blocked due to landslides. Your drive from Kathmandu to the destination is to be made by either local bus or land cruiser.
Day 03: Trek from Dhunche to Sing Gompa. 5 hours. (B &B/Lunch/Dinner)
The first part of the trails ascends gradually through mineral water factory up to Ghatte Khola (stream). Crossing a suspension bridge over this stream, you begin to trek steep up until you reach Sing Gompa through pine, silver oak and rhododendron forests with marijuana plants. There is an old cheese factory at Sing Gompa.
Day 04: Trek from Sing Gompa to Gosaikunda (4361m.) Lauribinayak pass (3920m.) 6 hours. (B &B/Lunch/Dinner)
The first part of the trails emerges gently ascent up to Lauribinayak and the top of Lauribinayak gives you an exotic feeling. Then the trails steeply ascend all the way to Gosaikunda.You follow a rugged trail with dramatic views; to the west Himal Chuli(7893m) Manaslu range (8156mm), Ganesh Himal range(7406m), Tibetan peaks and Langtang Lirung. On a clear day, even the Annapurna range can be seen rising up behind and to the north across the valley is Langtang Lirung. You pass a few huts in the high pasture of Laurebinayak, cross a small ridge and have your first views of the holy lakes. There are about a dozen lakes in the Gosainkunda Basin, the main three being Saraswatikunda, Bhairabkunda, and Gosainkunda. According to legend, Gosainkunda was created by Shiva when he pierced a glacier with his trident to obtain water to quench his thirst after having swallowed a poison that threatened to destroy the world.
Day 05: Trek from Gosaikunda to Sing Gompa (3250m.) or Chandan Bari (3250m.) 5 hours. (B &B/Lunch/Dinner)
The trails descend all the way to Sing Gompa passing Lauribanayak with magnificent mountain views and forests.
Day 06: Trek from Sing Gompa to Dhunche (B &B/Lunch/Dinner)
The first part of the trails descend through pine, silver oak and rhododendrons forests with marijuana plants up to you cross suspension bridge over the Sing Gompa Stream.
Day 07: Drive from Dhunche to Kathmandu private vehicles .8 hours. (B &B)
It is a pleasant drive back to Kathmandu. you can visit some market at Kathmandu.
