Overview

There are more than 600 World Heritage Sites around the world. Among them, ten world heritage sites lie in the Nepal. Out of these, seven lie within the Kathmandu valley. From historical point of view, the eight cultural sites and other two natural sites are of equal importance. These sites offer great artistic, cultural and natural beauty. On these sites, people feel that they have really come to Shangri-La and experience a feeling of peace.

Nepal’s heritage is alive and dynamic. Shamanism, animism & Witch craft are still practiced in remote regions Temples, shrines monuments and monasteries are extremely active with devotees burning butter-lamps, singing hymns, chiming temple bells and playing drums

Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu

Welcome you from airport by representative and transfer you to hotel. Our tour Manager will discuss about the details about your tour..

Day 02: Mountain Flight & Kathmandu Sightseeing

Early morning depart to the domestic airport for one of the most dramatic air flights in the world- a journey right into the heart of the Himalayas to the face of Mountain Everest and unparalleled panoramic views. Breakfast at hotel. Pick up from your hotel in Kathmandu, daily tours start,  visit:

Swayambhunath Stupa , the Monkey Temple – one of the oldest Buddhist Stupa in Valley

Boudhanath Stupa – The largest stupa in Nepal and the holiest Tibetan Buddhist temple outside Tibet, listed as UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE.

Lunch en route at local restaurant. Tours continue, visit:

Pashupatinath Temple –The most sacred temple of Hindu Lord Shiva in the world. Listed as UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE.

Kathmandu Durbar Square, listed as UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE.

Dinner in Gokarna House Restaurant with Nepalese traditional cultural dance performances.  After dinner, back to hotel. Rest & relax.

Day 03: Sightseeing Tour: Patan and Bhaktapur

Breakfast at hotel. After breakfast  We will continue our tour to Patan Durbar Square.Lunch at Patan Palace Restaurant or similar class restaurant around Patan area. Brief Descriptions: Patan officially Lalitpur Sub-Metropolitan City, is the third largest city of Nepal after Kathmandu and Pokhara and it is located in the south-central part of Kathmandu Valley. Patan is also known as Manigal. It is best known for its rich cultural heritage, particularly its tradition of arts and crafts. It is called city of festival and feast, fine ancient art, making of metallic and stone carving statue.
After lunch, , we will drive to Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Arrive in Bhaktapur Durbar Square. You will spend around 2 to 3. Back at your hotel. Rest & relax.

Day 04: Drive to Chitwan

Today after an early morning breakfast we head towards our Jungle Safari. We take our private bus to Chitwan situated 150 kilometers from Kathmandu and a 5 hour very scenic drive. After checking into the hotel and getting refreshed you will be briefed about the full guided nature program over the next two days by our nature guide. The program includes an elephant safari and bathing with them, nature and jeep safaris, bird watching there will be a guided village walk and a walk on the banks of the Rapti River to watch charming sunset views in the sub-tropical jungle. In the evening a dinner is held along with a cultural program by ethnic tribal people and tribal drums.

Day 05: Full Day at Chitwan National Park including Jungle Safari

The Chitwan National Park has been declared by the UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Today you will discover why Chitwan National Park is such an important place in preserving the wildlife of Nepal. The Park is home to rhinoceros, tigers, leopards, sloth bears, wild bison, gangetic dolphins and over 500 birds along with many butterfly species, as well as the near extinct Gharials crocodiles.

Day 06: Drive to Lumbini (The birthplace of Lord Buddha)

Today soon after an early morning jungle walk followed by breakfast we travel on to Lumbini situated about 190 kilometers from Chitwan and around a 4 hour’s drive. Lumbini is not the most important Buddhist pilgrimage site in the world. Reaching Lumbini, we explore some of the major landmarks and monuments in Lumbini such as: Mayadevi Temple  the exact site where Buddha was born, Ashoka’s Pillar,  erected by Emperor Ashoka (249 BC), and various other temples & monasteries  founded by the devotees from different countries: Tibetan, Chinese, Japanese and Burmese, Korean, along with many others. Overnight at Lumbini.

InclDay 07: Drive to Pokhara & Sightseeing

Today we drive to Pokhara 6-7 hours stopping for lunch on the way. The drive again is very scenic as we drive further west into the mountains, following rivers for much of the day.  Pokhara has to be one of the most beautiful places in the world. The town offers magnificent views of Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Machhapuchhare, five peaks of Annapurna and others. Pokhara is also the gateway for trekking in the Annapurna Region. On arrival at Pokhara, people can choose to relax and perhaps do some boating on the beautiful lake or a sightseeing trip to some of Pokhara’s marketplaces, old bazaars, and landmarks. In the evening, explore the surrounding lakeside areas

Day 08: Full Day Pokhara Sightseeing

We spend a full day exploring Pokhara. Early morning we drive to the Sarangkot Hill for some wonderful sunrise views over the Himalayas. After breakfast there is a day sightseeing. Enjoy walking along the banks of Phewa Lake with the stunning reflection of Fish Tail Peak in the waters. We take a boat across the lake which is the second biggest lake in Nepal and take an hour’s walk to the World Peace Pagoda. Some other places we visit today include the Seti River Gorge, Devi’s Fall and the Mountain Museum.

Day 09: Fly to Kathmandu

An early morning flight to Kathmandu (25 mins) and we are soon back at our hotel. Today is a day to relax and perhaps to some last minute shopping? There will be a farewell meal in the evening to share our experiences together.

Day 10: Final Departure

Transfer to Tribhuvan Intl Airport for your onward destination
