Everest base camp trek is also popularly known as EBC trek in its abbreviated from this trekking trail has been conquered since 1953 with the first ascent of mount Everest by sir Edmund Hilary and Tenzing Norgay Sherpa .The modern trekking trail is accessible to tea house based lodges so this trekking trail can be done easily with tea house based accommodation base camp trek is the probably the most challenging trekking trails over all others trekking trails in Nepal. Everest base camp trek is starts with a 30 minute flight to Lukla, the classical Everest base camp trek used to start from Jiri.Four mountain above 8000 meters high namely, mount Everest (8848m), mount Chooyu(8201m), mount Lhotse(8516m),and mount Makalu(8481m) spectacularly shines at the northern side of  Nepal. Moreover, Everest base camp trek offers spectacular view of Amadablam(6856m), Cholatse peak(6440m), Lobuche peak(6119m), Nuptse(7873m), Mount Pumori(7145m), Khumbutse(6640,)etc. In addition to the trekking adventure you will be able to explore the Himalayan life style and their unchanged culture from the beginning of the settlement .Yaks are found abundantly and most of the people herds yak and depend on them for trade,meat,cheese,and their skin.The warm hospitality of the Sherpas clan (also nicknamed as Himalayan tigers)can be of unforgettable  experience .This trekking trails is a perfect combination of experiencing mountain adventure and exploring the Himalayan life style and its culture.

Itinerary

Day 1Kathmandu

Arrive at any time.

Day 2 Kathmandu/Phakding

Mountain flight to Lukla, trek to Phakding.

Day 3 Phakding/Namche Bazaar

Spend two nights in Namche acclimatising for the trek.

Day 4Namche Bazaar

An acclimatisation day allows for an excursion to Thame and Khumjung, the green village.

Day 5  Namche Bazaar/Thyāngboche

Set out on a 6–7 hr trek through woods and rhododendron forests before arriving in Tengboche.

Day 6 Thyāngboche/Dingboche

Trek to Dingboche where we have time to acclimatize.

Day 7 Dingboche

This is an acclimatisation day. Opt to hike to Chhukung or Nagarzhang Peak.

Day 8 Dingboche/Lobuche

Hike along the Khumbu Glacier to reach Lobuche, which has spectacular views of Nuptse.

Day 9 Everest Base Camp

Today includes a challenging climb past the Khumbu Glacier, arriving in Nuptse. We’ll cross the Changri Glacier to Gorakshep, and then enjoy the highlight of reaching Everest Base Camp.

Day 10 Gorak Shep/Pheriche

Enjoy an early morning trek to Kala Pattar for sunrise views of Everest. Descend to Pheriche.

Day 11 Pheriche/Thyāngboche

Descend through Pangboche, with its great gompa, to Tengboche.

Day 12 Thyāngboche/Monjo

Continue our descent, staying in the small village of Monjo for the evening.

Day 13 Monjo/Lukla

The final day of our trek takes us back to Lukla, where we have a chance to relax after the rigorous adventure we just undertook.

Day 14 Lukla/Kathmandu

Fly to Kathmandu.

Day 15 Kathmandu

Depart at any time.
