Lumbini associated with the birth of Lord Buddha is of extreme archeological importance and also a UNESCO Cultural Heritage Site. It is says that Prince Siddhartha Gautam, who later became Buddha. Enlightened One, was born in the gardens of Nepal’s Lumbini in 623 B.C.
The main shrines of Lumbini is the newly restore Mayadevi Temple, Ashokan Pillar behind the temple and the Lake Shakya Puskarini where Mayadevi is to have bathed before delivering the little Buddha into the world. There are others like the Nepal Buddha Temple and the Dharmaswami Buddhist monastery. Countries like Japan, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam, etc are also contributing to build more temples and monasteries. Lumbini also have museum and a research center for Buddhism.
Day 01: Kathmandu Arrival

Day 02: Sightseeing Kathmandu Valley
Full day Kathmandu valley sightseeing includieng Pashupatinath Temple (the Hindus Holiest Shrine), Boudhanath (the 7th century Buddhist Monument) also called Khasti, visit Buddha Bihars (Monasteries).
Day 03: Kathmandu – Bhairahawa – Lumbini
Transfer to Domestic airport to fly Bhairahawa and drive to Lumbini.
Day 04: Day in Lumbini
Lumbini, the birth place of Lord Buddha, is situated about 22 km. from Bhairahawa (Siddharthanagar), below the Churia range, 24 km. south from the foothills of the mountain, on the western bank of Telar river in Rupandehi district of Lumbini zone of Nepal. we begin the day by driving 27km west of Lumbini and visiting the important archaeological site, Tilaurakot, the ancient palace of King Suddodha (Siddhartha Gautam’s father), where Lord Buddha spent his formative years as a Shakya Prince. Allow yourself for a moment to wonder around and soak up the atmosphere. There’s a museum nearby, the Kapilvastu Museum where you will find fine, ancient pottery, jewelry and ornaments. We end the day by visiting the shrines, monasteries and Stupas near the sacred garden.
Day 05: Lumbini to Pokhara
After breakfast drive to Pokhara
Day 06: Pokhara
Breakfast at the Hotel followed by We take a boat ride across the beautiful Phewa Lake and trek up the hill to the Peace Pagoda that stands looking out over the lake and beyond to the Annapurna Mountain Range. The monument is meant to inspire peace and unite the human race in the quest for world peace. Buddhist monks form the Japanese Nipponzan Myōhōji organization built the monument and it houses a golden statue of Lord Buddha. Its position means you will enjoy magnificent views from the stupa.
Day 07: Pokhara to Kathmandu.
Transfer to Pokhara Airport for flight to Kathmandu. And evenings join Nepali traditional cultural show.
Day 08: Drive Pokhara to Kathmandu
drive to Kathmandu. The total driving time today is 6 to 7 hours.
Day 09: Final Departure
Transfer to Tribhuvan Intl Airport for your onward destination.
